This hotel is an excellent choice for a weekend getaway. The staff always go above and beyond to make us feel welcome and the rooms are always spotless. The location is perfect, within walking distance of all the Xscape facilities and the outlet. Plus, the prices are unbeatable, with great rates when booked in advance. We recently stayed on a Saturday for just £30, which we thought was incredible value. The breakfast is also outstanding, with a wide variety of options included for just £9 per person. We couldn't ask for more!
All was perfect, we had a fantastic stay.

The building is new, the room was spacious and spotless, with two queen sized beds.It offers free parking facilities. Although we arrived around 10 am, before normal check-in time, the staff went the xtra mile by finding a suitable room. Front desk staff was particularly friendly and efficient.

I had a delightful stay at a hotel in Castleford. the hotel's location couldn't be any better. It was conveniently situated next to the train station, making it incredibly easy for me to travel there. there was a fantastic complex right across the road, offering a great selection of places to eat, drink, and shop. This added convenience definitely enhanced my overall experience.
While my stay was largely positive, there were a couple of aspects that I didn't find as satisfying. the layout of the room was a bit strange.

The staff! They were amazingly friendly especially to our son 16months old. He loved to walk all around the place getting under their feet but they were always friendly and never seemed to mind. A few days later we came back to visit and they still remembered his name! They seem to do multiple roles and help each other out. The heated towel rail was great for drying little baby socks and the room was spacious enough for cot and to open luggage in. Bathroom shower was good and sink had vanity top to place toiletry bag. Parking was free.

I recently had a great stay at this hotel and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The location is absolutely fantastic, right next to the Junction 32 shopping outlet. It's so convenient, especially if you love to shop like I do. The hotel is also near the motorway network, making it easy to access. The value for money is excellent, with prices starting at just £36. The room I stayed in had two double beds and was very spacious and comfortable. The large shower in the bathroom was a pleasant surprise. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that I had everything I needed during my stay. I also enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel for its great value and convenient location.
All was in order.

Easy to get to, lovely bar/reception area - much nicer than most PIs as this was originally a Tulip Inn and it shows!

It was convenient for what I wanted.
When we booked in, although the receptionist was very nice, he was a little unprofessional in his approach. First impressions count for a lot and I think this experience let the front of house team down.
